Week 1 (7/1-7/5) (n/a) closed for Summer Break
Week 2  (7/8-7/12) Lunch Basil, mozzarella, and zucchini frittata, grapes, cucumber and beet salad Turkey burgers with baked veggie chips and cherries Ginger veggie stir-fry, quinoa, and pineapple Dino nuggets, corn-on-the-cob, spinach, radish, and beet salad Cheese and veggie quesadilla with pineapple
Week 3 (7/15-7/19) Lunch Mediterranean bow-tie pasta with chicken, olives, sun-dried tomatoes, grilled peppers and artichokes Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches with sugar snap peas and fresh baby carrots Cucumber maki rolls,  chicken cashew (cabbage) salad, and dragonfruit Sweet potato and vegetable hash with scrambled eggs and fresh fruit Chicken and veggie fajitas, corn, and mixed fruit
Week 4 (7/22-7/26) Lunch Penne with turkey meatballs and veggie ragu, mixed lettuce greens, and cherries Chickpea, tomato, and tzatziki pitas with cucumber and olive salad.  Fresh figs. Cauliflower and carrot coconut curry with brown rice and mango salad Broccoli and cheese potato wedges and grilled steak with mushrooms and kale Mexican bean salad, Spanish rice, and avocado with jicima
Week 5  (7/29-8/2) Lunch Italian pasta salad with tricolor rotini and diced vegetables with melon Grilled cheese sandwiches, broccoli salad, and fruit kebabs Peanut-sesame slaw with soba noodles, chicken and vegetable potstickers, and mixed fruit Vegetarian chili, coleslaw, and corn bread Lentil tacos with cucumber, avocado, and pomegranate quinoa salad
Same each week PM Snack “ants on a log” (Celery w/ peanutbutter and raisins) Class-made frozen yogurt and fruit pops with nuts Class-made baked bread or muffin and seasonal fruit String cheese, crackers, and seasonal fruit (n/a)
Children can finish food from home at arrival in the morning (before 8:30am please).  You can bring snacks and lunch from home as long as it follows the food policy in the childcare agreement and is labeled with child’s name (lunchbox fine); tuition remains the same. * Whole grains are used for noodles, bread, tortillas, rice, crackers, etc. (natural or organic used when possible)
*If there is any religious or health preclusion for eating a certain food, I will substitute an appropriate alternative. You must let me know in written advance.
*Menu items listed above may be substituted with other types depending on seasonal and organic availability.
*Meat is either organic or all-natural (no antibiotics or hormones). Fish is wild-caught. Fruit and Veggies are seasonal and organic at every chance possible. 
*Milk is organic and offered during lunch and snacks only.  Filtered water is available all other times.
*Vegetarian Options are available for each day.  Please inquire if you are interested.
