Children can finish food from home at arrival in the morning. You can bring snacks and lunch from home as long as it follows the food policy in the childcare agreement and is labeled with child’s name (lunchbox fine); tuition remains the same. | *Whole grains are used for noodles, bread, tortillas, rice, crackers, etc. (natural or organic used when possible) | |||||

Avalon reserves the right to switch meals to different days and include substitutions or alternatives based on seasonal and organic availability.
Special learning days and celebrations for June with meal substitutions, exceptions, and additions:
- Friday, June 7th (Child Birthday): Afternoon snack will be substituted for homemade (children will help) whole grain muffin “cupcakes” with homemade whipped cream topping and selection of toppings (fresh fruit slices, chocolate sprinkles, small marshmallows).
