Same each week AM Snack Bagels and cream cheese Breakfast rounds with almond butter and apple slices Whole grain mini waffle with greek yogurt and berries Toast and bananas Fruit slices and hardboiled eggs
Week 1         Mon. 4/29  –  Fri. 5/3     AND               Week 5      Mon. 5/27 –     Fri. 5/31 Lunch Pasta Primavera (multi-color bow tie) with carrots, peas, and asparagus Turkey burgers with mandarin orange slices and celery sticks Lamb meatballs w/ minted spring peas and garden carrots Dino nuggets, mango slices, and green beans Cheese and veggie quesadilla or roll-ups, salad, and fruit
Vegetarian Option (already vegetarian) (vegetarian patties instead) Baked Falafel bites  substituted for meatballs Replace chicken nuggets with pita and hummus (already vegetarian)
Week 2          Mon. 5/6 – Fri. 5/10 Lunch Mac N’ Cheese, fresh snap peas, and apple slices Almond butter and jelly sandwiches with leafy greens salad Cucumber* “sushi” rolls with salt and pepper chicken and fruit Maple-glazed salmon, brown rice, broccoli, and pears Chicken Verde Tamales, asparagus, mango and cucumbers
Vegetarian Option (already vegetarian) (already vegetarian) (replace chicken with veggie potstickers) Replace salmon with baked sweet potato and toppings Vegetarian Tamale available
Week 3          Mon. 5/13 – Fri. 5/17 Lunch Shells and white cheddar sauce with spring peas and caesar salad Dino Nuggets, apple and celery salad, and grilled baby carrots Pork Tikka Masala with brown rice and fresh veggies Mini-pancakes (whole grain), chicken apple sausage, and berry smoothie Bean, cheese, rice,and  romaine super burritos
Vegetarian Option (already vegetarian) Replace chicken nuggets with Falafel nuggets (sweet potato subbed for pork & made separately) (omit sausage) (already vegetarian)
Week 4        Mon. 5/20 – Fri. 5/24 Lunch di Fiori “garden” pasta (lightly steamed veggies, olive oil, and parmesan” Turkey, cheese, & lettuce sandwich with fruit kebabs Vietnamese Spring rolls with fruit Baked Chicken Drumsticks, apple sauce, raw veggies w/ avocado dip “Taco Bar”, with corn-squash-bean mix, and fruit
Vegetarian Option (already vegetarian) Omit turkey (already vegetarian) Replace chicken with grilled polenta Vegetarian options available
Same each week PM Snack Whole grain crackers with seasonal fruit “ants on a log” (Celery w/ sun-butter and raisins) String cheese and fruit Turkey (or cheese) tortilla wraps Fruit and crackers
Children can finish food from home at arrival in the morning.  You can bring snacks and lunch from home (notice is appreciated for planning) as long as it follows the food policy in the childcare agreement; tuition remains the same. * Whole grains are used for noodles, bread, tortillas, rice, crackers, etc. and natural/organic used when possible.
*If there is any religious or health preclusion for eating a certain food, I will substitute an appropriate alternative. You must let me know in written advance.
*Fruit and Veggies are always organic unless noted with an asterisk. 
*Meat is either organic or all-natural.  Fish is always wild caught.
*Milk is organic and lactose-free. It is offered at lunch and snack.  Spring water is the only alternative (no juice is served).
*Vegetarian Option lists the meat substitute and includes the sides offered in the regular lunch. Omissions or replacements always cooked separately.
